No doubt you've seen them walking around already: Akcie members who are organizing several Veetelers party’s. If everything is organized and the big moment comes, they also like to help build the party mood going. But why should a study association organize such magnificent party’s? The answer is simple: a real Veeteler (student Animal Sciences) reaches his optimal study results only if he or she, enjoying a beer, can do creative ideas about the problem that’s discussed that day in college. We Akcie members, say so: Akcie, that breaks the week so good!
Furthermore, it is obviously important to get to know your classmates, to work together perfectly during project work. So, the game element on the activities that Akcie organizes has its function. Already at the first year’s weekend new students learn each others skills during the games and the evening in the forest. At the pub games in December, also other other Veetelers may practice teamwork, in May the Boerengames (farmer games) form the ultimale final. We Akcie members, say so: Akcie, that breaks the week so good!
The Akcie members themselves begin their break consistently on Monday evening. At exactly half past nine, the meeting starts and we firmly build the party’s that we have in the planning. If the practical issues are discussed, we ‘break open’ a bottle to drink and during a good game, called ‘mexen’, we come to the best and most creative ideas: the ice is always quickly broken. Also that’s why we say: Akcie, that breaks the week so good!
Of course it is not unusual for one or more Akcieleden to start the next day with a hangover: they feel broken. Yet it seems that the Akcie members, like all other Veetelers moreover, very much benefit from many new ideas and knowledge of each other’s qualities after a night out clubbing. So therefore, for all Veetelers:
